Know the property before the showing.

What's in a report

The facts buyers ask about, gathered in one place.

Measured distances and official designations, written plainly. No guesses, no scores.

Flood zone

The FEMA flood zone for the property and the map it comes from.

Water and sewer

The public water system mapped to the address, or the well and septic permits on record.

Regulated sites nearby

Superfund, brownfield, cleanup and permitted facilities, by distance and direction.

Radon

The county's EPA radon zone and nearby readings, with the next step: test the home.

Soils

What the USDA soil survey maps at the property, such as shrink-swell or seasonally wet soil.

Infrastructure

Transmission lines, pipelines, antenna structures and data centers nearby.

Utilities

Electric, gas, water and internet providers for the address.

Year built

When the home was built, and the disclosures that follow from it, such as lead paint before 1978.

Florida and Texas add their own state records, from storm-surge evacuation zones to water districts and oil and gas wells.

Precise by design

Anchored to the property itself.

A report is only as good as where it starts. We place each address from the state's own address records and county parcel data, then measure from there.

  • State address points and county lot lines for North Carolina, Florida and Texas.
  • When an address can't be matched with confidence, we ask rather than guess.
  • Every distance is measured from this property, never from a neighborhood average.

Questions

Good to know.

Is this an inspection or an appraisal?

No. A PropertyDX report gathers public records about the property's location. It is not an inspection, appraisal, environmental assessment or health assessment, and it does not certify a property's condition. Where a record points somewhere, the report says who to ask next.

Where does the data come from?

From public agencies: FEMA, the EPA, USGS, the USDA, the Census Bureau and the FCC, and state and county agencies in North Carolina, Florida and Texas. Every finding names its source and the date it was retrieved.

Which states do you cover?

North Carolina, Florida and Texas today, with statewide address and parcel records for each. More states are planned.

Do you include school, crime or demographic data?

No, never. Reports describe the property itself, not the neighborhood or the people in it, and contain no scores or rankings.

Can I cancel?

Yes, at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Fees are non-refundable.

How do I get access?

PropertyDX is in an invite-only beta. Request an invite below and we'll be in touch.

I'm buying a home, not an agent. Can I use it?

Yes. Personal accounts are for home buyers: three free reports, then a Buyer Pass for your whole search. You can share any report with your agent.
